SUPER GROOMER

          MANEMASTER

The Manemaster is designed to shorten the mane whilst giving a pulled look. To achieve this, take a few long hairs and backcomb the hair using the metal cutting teeth. Having backcombed the hair to about 1 inch above the required length, depress the lever and cut. Never backcomb and cut to the top of the crest. Start at the wither to establish the required length and then work in sections up the neck.

This type of comb will never thin the mane, as pulling does, as it does not remove the hair from the root.

The comb is ideal on long thin manes that have to be shortened, or horses that will not tolerate having their mane pulled.

The comb does excel for shaping a tail. Simply fan out the long hair, backcomb as close to the dock as possible, depress the lever and cut.

A good knowledge of mane and tail pulling does make the use and results, of this comb much better.

To maintain the comb, always use on a clean mane, brush the teeth out to remove any hair and spray with a light oil,
WD 40 or similar.

             EQUIFLECT

Equiflect are one, if not the original boots to incorporate a tendon guard.

They have been used on the race course and for other equestrian disciplines since 1991. They come in 2 sizes, large and medium, both sizes are available in plazdazote, or fleece lining, with a tough exterior and three part tendon guard. Hind boots are also available, with the guard placed on the front of the cannon bone to protect against blows from solid obstacles.

The fleece lined boots are excellent on sand or artificial surfaces, as any small particles trap in the deep fibre and do not run between the leg and the boot, thus preventing rubbing.

Now available fleece lined brushing boots without the tendon guard, which are proving
popular for endurance.
